Introducing The Den, an exciting service from Stugdale Kennels, offering an upgraded, home-style alternative to our traditional kennels and daycare facilities.
Designed for dogs who thrive in a calm, cosy environment, The Den provides the same trusted care you’ve come to expect from Stugdale; now with the added comfort of a real home setting.
We understand that every dog is different, and as devoted owners, you want the very best for your canine companions; along with the reassurance that they’re safe, relaxed and happy when life takes you elsewhere.
Whether you need daycare occasionally or on a regular basis, The Den offers a warm, welcoming space where your dog can feel secure, loved and right at home.
With a maximum of six dogs per day, each guest enjoys individual attention in a peaceful home environment. Under the care of Olivia, your dog’s dedicated “paw parent” for the day, they can stretch out on the sofa, watch TV, nap on soft rugs and enjoy all the comforts of home.
Throughout the day, they’ll experience:

Meet Olivia.....
I’m Olivia, the face behind Lady & the Chunk, I'll be offering my services at The Wag Works; some of you might already know me from my family’s kennels, @stugdalecanineclubhouse. Having grown up surrounded by dogs, I’ve pretty much lived and breathed them my whole life- understanding dogs just comes naturally to me.
I’ve looked after and played with all sorts of breeds (some I can’t even spell, perks of being dyslexic!), but that’s never stopped me from knowing exactly what they need to be happy and healthy.
The idea behind Lady and the Chunk, is to offer more than just a regular dog walk. I want to make sure your dog’s day is filled with both mental and physical enrichment while you’re at work - so you come home to a happy, tired, and great-smelling pup!
I am fully insured and canine first aid certified, so you can have complete peace of mind knowing your dog is in safe and experienced hands.
